Listing prepares a Seaport order for a name you control. The order is signed in your wallet and submitted to the marketplace; the name stays in your wallet until a valid buyer fills it.

Owner and asset checks before listing.
Price and expiration controls.
Approval guidance for the correct ENS asset contract.
Native 2% platform fee included atomically in the order.
Cancellation support through Seaport order state rather than offchain promises.

Before you run this workflow

Networks

  • Ethereum mainnet

Prerequisites

  • Connected wallet
  • Correct owner/buyer address
  • Live executable signed order where required

Wallet permissions

  • EIP-712 order signature or transaction signature
  • Token approval only when the reviewed action requires it

Expected result

  • A signed order or confirmed atomic settlement with itemized price, gas, and fee

Errors and recovery

  • Re-check ownership, approval, counter, signature, expiry, and consideration
  • Do not treat an indexed price as an executable order
Workflow

How to use it

  1. 1

    Select a controlled name

Connect the owner wallet and choose the exact name. Wrapped and unwrapped names use different token contracts.

  2. 2

    Set price and expiry

Choose terms you are comfortable leaving publicly fillable until expiry or cancellation.

  3. 3

    Approve if required

Grant the minimum relevant marketplace approval to the asset contract when the wallet requests it.

  4. 4

    Sign and submit

Review the Seaport typed data, sign the order, and wait for marketplace confirmation.
