# Platform overview

A map of everything you can do with ENS.Tools.

## Overview

ENS.Tools brings ENS discovery, trading, portfolio management, identity, and agent infrastructure into one non-custodial platform. Public reads work without a wallet; actions that change state remain in your wallet.

## What this covers

- Find names through expiry data, semantic search, curated collections, and exact bulk checks.
- Trade through an open Seaport order book with single-name, bulk, and offer workflows.
- Manage renewals, records, resolvers, transfers, primary names, alerts, and public profiles.
- Monitor saved searches, subscribe to live calendar feeds, and triage one unified action inbox.
- Operate ENS-native agents through identity, health, routing, policies, commerce, and fleet control.
- Use the same capabilities programmatically through the live public MCP catalogue and documented HTTP APIs.

## Before you run this workflow

### Networks

- Ethereum mainnet unless the page explicitly labels a test network

### Prerequisites

- A current browser; a wallet is only required for address-specific data or signing

### Wallet permissions

- Public reads require none
- State changes require a separate wallet review and signature

### Expected result

- A current read result, prepared action, or explicit unknown/error state

### Errors and recovery

- Confirm the active wallet and network
- Refresh stale evidence
- Never force-send a failed simulation

## How to use it

1. **Choose an intent.** Use Find to discover a name, Trade to transact, Manage for names you control, or Agents for machine identities and workflows.
2. **Read before connecting.** Search, market data, profiles, agent evidence, and most developer references are public.
3. **Connect only when needed.** Connect a wallet to see a private portfolio or to review and sign a transaction or EIP-712 message.
