# Make, manage, and accept offers

Use collection bids and review offers on names you control.

## Overview

Offers are signed Seaport orders from a buyer. Collection offers target eligible assets in a set; Portfolio Offers gathers actionable bids on names controlled by the connected wallet.

## What this covers

- Collection-wide offer preparation.
- Wallet-wide view of offers on your names.
- Acceptance and cancellation actions with current-order checks.
- Price, currency, buyer, expiry, source, and fee review.

## Before you run this workflow

### Networks

- Ethereum mainnet

### Prerequisites

- Connected wallet
- Correct owner/buyer address
- Live executable signed order where required

### Wallet permissions

- EIP-712 order signature or transaction signature
- Token approval only when the reviewed action requires it

### Expected result

- A signed order or confirmed atomic settlement with itemized price, gas, and fee

### Errors and recovery

- Re-check ownership, approval, counter, signature, expiry, and consideration
- Do not treat an indexed price as an executable order

## How to use it

1. **Choose buyer or seller mode.** Create a collection bid from Collection Offers, or review inbound offers under Offers on Your Names.
2. **Check eligibility and terms.** Confirm the target collection or exact asset, payment token, amount, expiry, and current ownership.
3. **Approve and sign.** Buyers may need token approval; sellers review an atomic asset-for-payment fill.
4. **Confirm settlement.** Refresh the name and transaction status after the Seaport fill confirms.
