# Live market pulse and network activity

Read the rolling registration, renewal, premium, sales, volume, and floor snapshot.

## Overview

The market pulse is the compact live strip shown across ENS.Tools. It combines Ethereum registrar events from every active registrar controller with native marketplace activity and current 999 Club and 10k Club snapshots.

## What this covers

- Rolling approximately 24-hour counts for registrations, renewals, and temporary-premium registrations.
- Marketplace sale count, ETH volume, latest sale, and current active-listing total.
- 999 Club and 10k Club floors with a 24-hour change only when a sufficiently close historical snapshot exists.
- Explicit degraded state when any upstream market, registrar, collection, or sales source is unavailable.
- Network Analytics separates live recent activity from labelled long-range ecosystem estimates.

- Ethereum mainnet registrar and marketplace evidence

### Prerequisites

- None for public reads
- A healthy mainnet RPC and indexed marketplace sources for a live status

### Wallet permissions

- None

### Expected result

- A timestamped live or degraded snapshot; unavailable metrics remain unknown rather than fabricated

### Errors and recovery

- Refresh after the cache window
- Inspect the degraded sources
- Do not interpret an unavailable value as zero

## How to use it

1. **Check freshness first.** Treat the generated time and live/degraded indicator as part of every number. A zero is a measured result only when the registrar source is healthy.
2. **Keep the windows distinct.** Pulse registrar and marketplace values cover approximately 24 hours; Network Analytics includes separate 30-day, monthly, and all-time views.
3. **Open the supporting surface.** Use Network Analytics for registration trends, Activity for individual sales, and Expiry Explorer for the current premium-name inventory.
4. **Refresh before acting.** Registrations, prices, sales, floors, and premiums change continuously. Re-read the relevant detail page before a transaction.

## Premium registrations are completed registrations

> The premium count measures NameRegistered events whose temporary-premium component was greater than zero. It is not the number of names currently in the dutch-auction window.
