# Expiry Explorer

Find names moving through grace, temporary premium, and release.

## Overview

Expiry Explorer groups ENS names by lifecycle stage and makes the premium decline visible. Use it to monitor names that may become renewable by a previous owner, purchasable at a declining premium, or available at the normal registration price.

## What this covers

- Separate views for grace-period, temporary-premium, and released names.
- Filters for length, character pattern, collection, and date cohorts.
- Programmatic indexes for 3-letter, 4-letter, digit, palindrome, emoji, club, and monthly segments.
- Live registration pricing before you begin a commit/reveal flow.

## Before you run this workflow

### Networks

- Ethereum mainnet ENS data

### Prerequisites

- No wallet for public search
- Use a wallet only when continuing to registration or purchase

### Wallet permissions

- Search and inspection require none

### Expected result

- Results distinguish available, registered, listed, unresolved, and provider-error states

### Errors and recovery

- Open the individual name and refresh live state before acting
- Retry only unresolved batch items

## How to use it

1. **Choose a lifecycle stage.** Grace names cannot be registered by a new owner. Premium names can be registered at the displayed declining premium. Released names use normal pricing.
2. **Narrow the list.** Use length, pattern, collection, and search filters to isolate the names you care about.
3. **Open a name.** Inspect ownership, expiry, records, security, and history before taking action.
4. **Register from current data.** Refresh the price immediately before committing because premium values decline continuously.
