# Free bulk editing for ENS domains (and why you should wrap yours)

Edit records across dozens of ENS names in a single multicall transaction — no per-domain fee. Plus a BulkWrap contract that wraps multiple names at once.

Setting records on one ENS name is easy. Setting the same record on 30 names is a different story — most management surfaces ask you to sign 30 separate transactions and pay 30 separate gas bills.

Bulk Edit on ENS.Tools collapses that into a single multicall. Select the names, set the target records, sign once. We charge zero platform fee for it.

## What you can edit in bulk

- ETH address — point dozens of names at a new wallet in one tx
- Multi-chain addresses (BTC, Solana, Bitcoin Lightning, every L2)
- Text records — avatar, description, URL, social handles
- Content hash (IPFS, IPNS, Arweave, Swarm, Skynet)
- ENSIP-25 agent registrations

Behind the scenes we batch the calls into a single multicall on the resolver, which is gas-cheaper than N separate transactions even before factoring in the saved time.

## Why wrap first

Bulk Edit works on both wrapped and unwrapped names, but wrapping unlocks features you will want as your portfolio grows: per-record fuses, programmable expiry behaviours, ERC-1155 transfer semantics, and tighter ENS v2 readiness.

The catch has always been that wrapping costs gas _per name_. So we built **BulkWrap** — a contract that wraps multiple names in a single transaction. The savings compound: wrap five names for the gas cost of roughly two.
